MDAS
M - Multiplication, D- Division , A - Addition, S- Subtraction.
When all the operations are given together in the same question, we need to follow MDAS rule.
When multiplication and division operations are next to each other we will follow the left hand rule ie : whichever operation comes first from the left side will be solved first.
For example:
9 - 6 -3 x 8 ÷ 4 = 9 -6 -3 x 8 ÷ 4
= 9 - 6 - 24 ÷ 4
15 ÷ 3 x 10 ÷ 2 = 15 ÷ 3 x 10 ÷ 2
= 5 x 10 ÷ 2
= 50 ÷ 2
= 25
3 x 30 ÷ 10 = 3 x 30 ÷ 10
= 90 ÷ 10
= 9
20 ÷ 5 x 4 = 20 ÷ 5 x 4
= 5 x 4
= 20
5 + 21 ÷ 7 x 4 - 5 = 5 + 21 ÷ 7 x 4 - 5
= 5 + 3 x 4 -5
= 5 + 12 - 5
= 17 - 5
= 12
8 x 2 + 3 - 10 ÷5 + 6 - 3 x 4
= 8 x2 + 3 - 10 ÷ 5 + 6 - 3 x 4
= 16 + 3 - 2 + 6 - 12
= 19 -2 + 6 -12
= 17 + 6 -12
= 23 - 12
= 11
